The Brady City Council will begin its regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday night with a public hearing to get citizen comments on the City’s proposed budget for FY 2026 and the property tax rate for 2025.
Immediately following the public hearings, the Council will hold the first readings of the ordinances to adopt the budget, tax rate and the City’s utility rate and fee schedule.
The Council will hold the second and final reading of an ordinance assigning the City’s gas distribution system to West Texas Gas Utilities. Council will also hold the second and final reading of the ordinance amending the designated truck routes in the City.
