In the wake of an emergency declaration imposing a 7-day Burn Ban by Mason County Judge Sheree Hardin last Wednesday, at their meeting Monday morning Mason County Commissioners will take up the question of whether a 90-day ban should be imposed at this time.
Other items to be considered by Mason Commissioners will cover acknowleging the resignation of the current Veteran Service Officer and designating a new one. They’ll also discuss hangar leases at the airport, a request to exempt five acres on Keyserville Road from Sub-Division regulations, approving a proposal for work on fly Gap Crossing and hiring a new pat-time Tax Assessor-Collector and advertising for a part-time employee for the Nutrition Program.
The Commissioners meeting will be held in the Stribling Room at the M. Bevan Eckert Memorial Library.
