Mason Boil Water Notice Rescinded

The Boil Water Notice  announced by the City of Mason on Wednesday, July 22nd, has been rescinded.

As a result of a loss of water pressure or no pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Mason to notify customers to boil their water prior to consumption — washing hands/face, brushing teeth , drinking, etc.

The areas in Mason affected by the Boil Water Notice are Blackenbach, Pontotoc St. east of Blackenbach, Ranck, Gooch, Bridge, Hawkins , Loving, Morrow, Cedar, McCollum and Hey Streets..

The Mason Water System took coorective action to restore the quality oif the drinking water. And, test results  provided by the City to the TCEQ indicated the water no longer requires boiling prior to use.
