McCulloch, Mason County Commissioners’ Court Meetings

McCulloch and Mason County Commissioners’ Courts met for their regular sessions Monday, Feb. 26.

McCulloch County – 

McCulloch Commissioners began with Sheriff Matt Andrews presenting its annual Racial Profiling Report.  Sheriff Andrews noted that the numbers of people in the report were all in line with the demographics of the County populations.f

Among the action items on the Commissioners’ agenda was approval of a request through the Concho Council of Governments to pursue  a grant through the Governor’s office for possible replacement of the tower on FM 2028.

Consider of a purchase of a wheel-loader by Precinct 2 was tabled at the request of Commissioner Deans who indicated he wanted to obtain a full bid before bringing it to the Court,

Commissioners  also tabled an inter-local agreement with the City of Brady for the repair and maintenance of City and County roads pending further discussion with  the City.

Mason County – 

Mason County Commissioners started  with a Red Cross Proclamation, and a request for funds by the Mason County Child Welfare Board,

Other actions covered software for the Nutrition Program; enrollment in the Texas Assoc. of Counties Cybersecurity Training Program; updating the Human Resources Administrator job description; and reclassifying an EMS employee.

Mason Commissioners concluded with an Executive Session for consultation with the County Attorney.
