Mason, McCulloch County Commissioners Meetings Monday

The Mason and McCulloch County Commissioners’ Courts will be meeting for their regularly scheduled meetings Monday morning. Both Courts will be addressing issues created by the recent flooding in the area.

Mason County Commissioners will consider four items related to the Disaster Declaration that was implemented in the County — applying for FEMA disaster assistance; requesting emergency watershed protection assistance; granting discretionary exemptions; and ratifying a rental agreement with RDO Equipment for a track loader.

Also on the Mason Commissioners agenda will be recognizing a Distinguished Service Award presented to the Mason County Historical Commission for 2024, a recognizing Karen Jennings as a recipient of the 2025 Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Superior Service Award.

McCulloch County Commissioners will begin with discussion with the USDA NRCS about the Emergency Watershed Protection Program, and a discussion of policies and procedures for Federal and State Disaster Assistance reporting.

Commissioners will also consider which TextMyGov contract provides the best option for emergency notifications.
