Due to the Columbus Day Holiday, McCulloch County Commissioners will meet on Tuesday, Oct,. 15th in a Special Session.
Their meeting will begin with a discussion of using insurance money to make repairs to the Courthouse.
During the session, Commissioners will consider several requests for use of the Courthouse and Grounds. Brady Elementary has asked to again use the Courthouse for a Holiday Concert program on Dec. 5th; Brady Rotary has requested permission to put up Bulldog flags on Thursdays and Friday for football games; and the Ol’ Houn’ Dawgs Booster Club has asked to hold a Bulldog Pep Rally on the Courthouse Lawn on Nov. 1st.
Also on their agenda will be consideration of a request from the McCulloch County Hunger Coalition to use $11,900 from the ARPA grant to purchase food for their clients for one year. The food would include monthly purchases of fruit, vegetables, meat and eggs.
