McCulloch County Judge, Frank Trull, announced Monday, April 7th that, after contacting all of the fire departments, and with their insight, he had decided to rescind the burn ban that has been in place since March 24, 2025. Hopefully, he said, we will get more moisture sooner than later.

Whereas, by the authority granted to the County Judge by the State of Texas, Local Government Code, Section 352-081-(e) (2) and the McCulloch County Commissioners Court:
Whereas, the County Judge is hereby designated as the officer authorized to determine whether circumstances no longer exist to prohibit ourtdoor burning:
No, Therefore, the Burn Ban enacted by the McCuloch County Commissioners Court on March 24, 2025 is no longer in effect.
