McCulloch and Mason County Commissioner Courts are scheduled to their regular sessions on Monday. Mason Commissioners start at 8:45am, McCulloch County begins at 9:00am.
McCulloch County –
First on the agenda for McCulloch County Commissioners will be a discussion item concerning a battery storage system located near a substation on County Road 368 North of Doole.
Action items on the McCulloch County agenda includes a request to use the Courthouse lawn for a Farmers Market in June and July; the effect of long-abandoned buildings located near public facilities; and the appointment of members to the McCulloch County Historical Board.
Also on the agenda is consideration is the provision of Medical Services to the City of Melvin; and a discussion about extending the current 30-day Burn Ban in the County.
Mason County –
Mason Commissioners will begin their meeting with a presentation by the American Legion Fort Mason Post regarding a museum building.
Other agenda items will include proclaiming April as Child Abuse Awareness Month; approving use of the Courthouse grounds for the annual Mason Roundup; and the purchase of equipment for several County activities.
The session will conclude with an Executive Session for consultation with the County Attorney.
