Both the McCulloch and Mason County Commissioners’ Courts will be meeting for regular sessions Monday morning.
As part of their meeting, McCulloch County Commissioner will be holding two public hearings. The first will be a public hearing on the County’s proposed budget for 2025, with the second a public hearing on the proposed tax rate for 2024. After each public hearing, Commissioners will be voting to adopt the budget and tax rate.
In other action, McCulloch Commissioners will take action on beginning the process for interviewing and hiring a floating roadhand to be used primarily between Precincts 2 and 4. Also on the agenda for Commissioners will be setting the salaries and expenses for elected County officials.
Mason County Commissioners will begin their session with an Executive Session for discussions with the County Attorney.
Other items on their agenda includes repairs to Little Creek Road, purchase of computer and communication equipment for the Nutrition Program and the AgriLife Office and approval of a RAMP agreement.
Mason Commissioners will conclude their meeting with a Finance Workshop.
