On Saturday afternoon, the Rochelle Volunteer Fire Department responded to a brush fire on FM 2315 that was threatening a residential structure. Along with assistance from Brady Fire/EMS Department, Brady Volunteer Fire Department and the Placid Volunteer Fire Department, the fire was quickly contained before it could affect the structure.
