Voter Registration Ended Monday, Early Voting Starts Oct. 21

The period when Texas residents could register to vote in the Nov. 5 General Election ended Monday, Oct. 7.

Next up will be the start of Early Voting on Oct. 21st that will run through Nov. 1st.

The final day to be apply for a ballot by mail will be Oct. 25..

Then – Election Day on Nov. 5th.

Texas Secretary of State, Jane Nelson, last week published the list of names of candidates who are certified as properly-filed declared write-in candidates for state-wide and district offices in the Nov. 5 Election. At the state-level, the list includes six candidates for President and two for the U.S. Senate. These are in addition to the list of candidate printed on the ballot.

At the local level, Karl Friederich has also been certified as a properly-filed write in candidate for the election of County Commissisoner for Precinct 1 in McCulloch County.   Incumbent Commissioner for Precinct 1 is Carol Anderson was unopposed in the Republican primary for the post and will be listed on the printed ballot.
