With the approach of the end of the fiscal year for local taxing entities, local school boards, counties and cities are scheduling public hearings on the budgets they’ve developed for the coming year and on the proposed tax rate needed to cover those budgets.
Monday – Aug. 28th
Mason County – 8:00am – Eckert Memorial Library – Proposed FY 2023 tax rate is .600 cents pers $100 valuation, down from .610 cents in 2022.
Mason ISD – 6:00pm – MISD board Room – Proposed FY 2023 tax rate is $1.11 per $100 valuation, unchanged from the $1.11 rate in 2022.
Paint Rock ISD – 6:00pm – Proposed FY 2023 tax rate is .755 cents per $100 valuation, down from $1.22 in 2022.
Tuesday – Aug. 29th
Eden CISD – 6:00pm – Rm, 308 Eden CISD Bldg. – Proposed FY 2023 tax rate is $1.04, down from $1.21 in 2022.
Wednesday – Aug. 30th
Brady ISD – 12:00 noon – Brady Admin. Bldg. – Proposed FY 2023 tax rate is $1.01, down from $1.14 in 2022.
Lohn ISD – 6:30pm – Proposed FY 2023 tax rate is .77 cents per $100 valuation, down from .95 cents in 2022.
Thursday – Aug. 31st
McCulloch County – Commissioners Court Room – Proposed FY 2023 tax rate is .71 cents per $100, down from .75 cents in 2022.
