4-H and FFA members from across McCulloch County gathered at the G. Rollie White Complex this week for the Annual McCulloch County Junior Livestock Show and Sale.
Show activities begin Thursday with the Rabbit Show Thursday night.
Friday featured the exhibition Swine, Meat Goats, Angora Goats, Sheep and Cattle.
The 2023 McCulloch County Junior Livestock Show concluded Saturday with the annual Buyers Dinner and Premium Sale at the Brady Civic Center.
2023 McCulloch County Junior Livestock Show Grand and Reserve Champion Winners-
Rabbits –
The Grand Champion Breeding Rabbit was exhibited by Hadlee Cavness, with the Reserve Champion shown by Riley McBride.
The Grand Champion Fryer Rabbit was shown by Riley McBride, and the Reserve Champion was exhibited by Paislay Lay.
Swine –
In the Swine Show, the Grand Champion Gilt was exhibited by Braelyn Brandenburger, with the Reserve Champion shown by Kollyns Brandenburger. The Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Market Hog were both exhibited by Kollyns Brandenburger.
Goats –
The Grand Champion Breeding Meat Goat was presented by Gracen Williams, with Gage Behrens exhibiting the Reserve Champion. The Grand Champion Market Goat was shown by Christina Watts, with Ali Ruiz showing the Reserve Champion.
Angora Goats–
Trey Evans was the exhibitor of both the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Angora Goats.
Ag Mechanics –
Gage Behrens was selected at the Grand Champion winner in the Ag Mechanics competition. The Lohn Team #3, consisting of Callum Slatton and Barrett Brock. was chosen as the Reserve Champion winners.
Sheep –
The Grand Champion Ewe was exhibited by Charlea Williams, with the Reserve Champion shown by Gage Behrens. The Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Lambs were by Lili Kate Appleton.
Cattle –
The Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Heifers were shown by Peyton Nuncio.
The Grand Champion Steer was exhibited by Flora Appleton, with the Reserve Champion shown by Peyton Nuncio.
