McCulloch and Mason County Commissioners each met for their regular meetings on Tuesday, rather than Monday because of the Memorial Day Holiday.
McCulloch County –
McCulloch Commisssioners began with discussion of an offer by the Menard County Veterans Coalition to serve McCulloch County veterans. Also on the Commissioners agenda was consideration of accepting the resignation of the County’s Veteran’s Services Officer.
The Commissioners dealt with a number of agenda items related to the close-out of the Rochelle Wter Supply project.
Other items included completion of the annual fire alarm inspection and various budget amendments. l
Commissioners concluded with a Budget Workshop.
Mason County –
Mason County Commissioners looked at approving an application to vacate a portion of Little Willow Creek road, and approval of the installation of a cattle guard on Little Willow Creek Road.
Also on the Commissioners’ agenda was purchasing cattle guards for the Road and Bridge Dept.; approving the installation of new security devices at the Road and Bridge Dept. and hiring and classifying two employees.
