Both the Mason County and McCulloch County Commissioner Courts held their next regular meetings on Tuesday, Oct. 10, rather than Monday in observance of Columbus Day.
MASON COUNTY –
Mason County Commissioners will met at the MB Eckert Library.
Their agenda included discussions of the process for naming private roads in the County; a Mason County resolution for the Indigent Defense Grant program; an inter-local agreement with Kerr County for Mental Health Services; adoption of a Mason County Health Reimbursement Agreement; and an order appointing a visiting judge when the County Judge is absent.
MC CULLOCH COUNTY –
McCulloch County Commissioners will meet twice this week — the regular session at 9am Tuesday; and a Special Session on Thursday at 9am. The Thursday session will be an Executive Session for discussion of bridge inspection reports for all precincts and planning for repairs.
The Tuesday session will begin with discussion of surplus and salvage equipment.
Action items on the agenda included nominations for the Library Board; a request from CTTC to bury a fiber optic cable on County Road 154; a request from McCulloch County 4-H to use the “Old Jail” for a Haunted House fundraiser; approval of a proposal for fire protection monitoring at the Courthouse; and approval of an inter-local agreement with Mason County for inmate housing.
