McCulloch and Mason County Commissioners’ Courts both held their regular sessions on Monday, Feb. 9
McCulloch County Commissioners began their session with a report on training and statistics by the County Veterans Affairs Officer — Nancy Munitake.
Action items on the agenda for McCulloch Commissioners included consideration of a service agreement for the panic system for County officers; purchase of flatbeds for trucks in Precincts 1 and 4; and an Executive session to discuss personnel matters.
Mason County Commissioners began with a presentation of the County’s Audit report for Fiscal Year 2024.
Other agenda items included hiring and classifying County workers; purchasing new equipment for County Departments; an inter-local agreement with Kimble County for Mutual Aid Assistance in a Disaster.
Also on their agenda was consideration of accepting letter of resignation the Mason County Treasurer. The Commissioners chose to refuse the resignation request the Treasurer continue serving. A decision is expected near-term.
