The McCulloch and Mason County Commissioners’ courts met for their regular sessions Monday, Feb. 12.
McCulloch County –
McCulloch County Commissioners began their session with four discussion items –disaster preparations, installation of a sound system in the Commissioners courtroom, and joining two cooperative purchasing agreements — before moving into the Action Items on their agenda.
Commissioners first tabled a request from Central Texas Telephone Cooperative for a road bore under County Road 316 in Precinct 3 since a representative of CTTC was not at the meeting. Next, they’ approved four new members to the Child Welfare Board,
Also on the Commissioners’ agenda was the approval of the two cooperative purchasing agreements and authorizing repairs to the Texas AgriLife Extension offices.
Mason County –
Mason County Commissioners addressed a lengthy agenda that was preceded by an Executive Session for discussions with the County Attorney. ‘
Among the items considered by Mason Commissioners was a Victim Coordinator Grant for the 452nd District Attorney’s office; an inter-local cooperation agreement with the Texas DPS; hiring a Road and Bridge Office Manager; and discussion of an updated pipeline and road crossing policy and the Mason County Code of Conduct Policy.
