At their next session,, the Brady City Council will consider approving the second and final reading of two proposed ordinances. The first will be to grant a Specific Use Permit for a concrete batch plant in the Commercial District at 2500 South Bridge St.. The second is for a Specific Use Permit at 1508 S. Blackburn for a caretaker or guard reesidence.
The Council will also consider approving the Cityh’;s intervention in a case before the Public Utilities Commission to support airport growth and safety,
In an Executive Session, the Council will discuss real property real property related to the Police and Fire Stations.
In a special session held Tuesday morning, the Council got an update from Eikon, the company working with the City to develop plans for a new Fire Station during an Executive Session. Appearing on KNEL’s Morning Program Wednesday, Brady Mayor, Tony Groves, said Eikon presented new information the Council will take under consideration. He said it most likely be made public at the Concil’s May 19 session.
