At its meeting Tuesday evening, the Brady City Council faced a short agenda.
First up for the Council was approval of the second and final readings of two ordinances requesting zoning changes. The first was for a change from Single Family Residential to Manfactured Home District at 1308 S. Melville St.
The second zoning request was for an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance Use Chart to allow a concrete or asphalt batching plant within the Commercial District on South Bridge Street. The Council approved the request, but it will now be returned to the Planning and Zoning Commission to finalize the process for amending the ordinance.
Also on the Council agenda was a discussion of whether to participate in a 5t0/50 cost share with the County for replacement of the radio tower at the G. Rollie White Complex. Council tabled the discussion since the County Commissions will be meeting on Thursday to also review the issue.
The only Council action coming out of their Executive Session was an announcement that the annual performance revkiew of City Manager James Stewart had been completd, and his contract had been renewed for another year.
