The Heart of Texas Healthcare System’s new MRI officially arrived on Friday and is now in the process of being moved into its new home. This significant investment in rural healthcare was made possible through Federal Community Project Funding secured with support from US Congressman August Pfluger. The new MRI is part of a $1.78 million investment in diagnostic equipment for Heart of Texas Healthcare System which has helped to bring advanced imaging and even more diagnostic capabilities right here to the community and surrounding area. It will take around 3-4 weeks for installation and preparation before the new MRI will be ready for use by patients.
