Because triple-digit temperatures have caused ground shifting and resulting water-main leaks, the Millersview-Doole Water Supply has issued emergency water restrictions.
Severe restrictions are in effect. All outdoor water use is prohibited, although the Utility may allow exceptions for livestock watering.
If Millersview-Doole Water customers see water where it should not be, they are being asked to report it.
Officials with the Water System emphasized the proihibition on outdoor water usage is temporary and normal water use will resume once the system has been restored.
