Because triple-digit temperatures have caused ground shifting and resulting water-main leaks, the Millersview-Doole Water Supply has been struggling over tgghe past two weeks with leaks and the need for multiple repairs.
That situaltion prompted them to issue severe emergency water restrictions in which all outdoor water use is prohibited, although the Utility may allow exceptions for livestock watering.
On Friday, Millersview-Doole System provided an update on water restrictions in which customers will now be allowed to water three days a week. Customers with even numnbered addreses will be allowed to water on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Customers with odd numbered addresses may water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Automatic sprinkler systems my run only at night betwee midnigh and 5am on assigned watering days.
